lift problems

ok so im new to the forum n what not blah blah
i like the game n all except the part where i cant continue cuz the lift wont work...

im in the mission where i have to reactivate the tsd's and i meet up with two other allies right after getting the dark matter gun, now i see a screen where it should say call lift or something like that but its blank, can anyone help me or am i screwed?

From what I can remember (been a while I've played the game, from it's release date I presume), you can only access those 2 lock doors after taking the DMG and after killing a couple of stroggs, then by all you take the right one where 2 marines runs in? (or as shown on this video in the first 2 minutes: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jcKO2hxq2Q0)

If that's the only lift, it could be a graphical glitch else you've got some unfinished business to do in that level, though then those doors shouldn't be active.

well i looked this problem up everywhere n found nothing but along the way i figured out its best to play the game with the updates, so i updated, n it still didnt work but then i messed around with my graphics settings n its fine now :S

still it works tho so thanks for your help
